Many people have the thought that the real test in life is to decide to serve and do something big for God. The fact is many people have the thought of doing something BIG and Great for the kingdom of God. Perhaps the question now isn’t whether there are people that will dream big or whether people will do crazy things for God.
Was talking to Reynard, and realised that many people have fallen into their own trap of “Serving and honoring God”. The seemingly politically right way to do have somehow make people be mislead by their own dreams and passion. We need driven people in the K.O.G but we need people that are driven by God’s plan for us and not our plan for God. Many driven leaders find themselves not achieving the result of theirs because they have forgotten what is it like to work by God’s calling and God’s timing.
Are we really using our life to honor God?
Are we really honoring God with the things we do?
Are the things that we do according to God’s plan?
The question is this now; If what we do is a form to honor God, How has it been God honoring? If it hasn’t been then is it really what God wants us to do?
I guess in the midst of pursuing what we think is honoring to God, we gotta get people to hold us accountable of our actions and decision. Let’s not work hard and in the end forfeit ourselves from entering the Kingdom of God. Honoring God need not always be doing crazy things nor does it mean to do great things for him. Simple obedience and willingness to work according to his will is a form of honoring to him.
